Delux Mechanical Pvt Ltd Ludhiana, Punjab
Incorporated in 2017, Delux Mechanical Pvt Ltd. has made quite a name for itself in the supplier's list of India. The company is located in Ludhiana, Punjab, and is one of the leading sellers of CI Parts, Sewing Machines & Parts, AutoParts.
In Feb 2021, Delux Mechanical Pvt Ltd was approached by 4 major CAM software companies-SolidCAM, MasterCAM, Worknc & PowerMill. The customer had purchased VMC Machine Brand Jyoti 850 with Siemens Controller for Machining his inhouse Casting Patterns.
The distributor of the machine recommended MasterCAM, and his known user was an expert on Worknc. Moreover, the PowerMill reseller was the customer’s mutual friend and SolidCAM was still struggling to find a way to connect with the customer. SolidCAM India team did a regular follow-up,35 days after the call, and finally, the customer agreed to meet us towards the end of March 2021.
During our demonstration of 3D HSR/HSM features along with Turbo benefits, the customer introduced his son who was pursuing Btech in mechanical engineering. He was responsible to monitor day-to-day activities. We suggested to our client that instead of hiring a programmer, to allow us to provide training to his son 2 weeks training for modules 2.5D, 3D HSR/HSM, THSR/THSM, as his son already had experience working on SOLIDWORKS in his last semester. The client agreed and we started the training. The feedback on SolidCAM was extremely good. His son was able to successfully operate and machine his first pattern, in the presence of the SolidCam India Team.
Later that evening, tables turned around and we closed the deal with 100% payment and gracefully won against 3 competitors.
Today, the client is happy with the after-sales support from SolidCAM India. The clients' son is independently handling the programming for the machine, with only one VMC Operator. Delux Mechanical Pvt Ltd has informed our team last week, that they achieved their R.O.I in 2 months. Finally, hardwork paid off!!
