Here is a helpful utility that we have come up with and use for support in the US.
This utility lets you select a SolidCAM version from a list and it will set that version as the current SolidCAM add-in in SolidWorks.
This does not install any new versions of SolidCAM on the computer, it only allows you to select a previously installed version.
This will also set some important directory locations in SolidCAM settings such as the GPPtool folder, Latest Used Directory, idatabase, and a few others.
The common use for this is when we get a send-to zip file from a customer, we unzip the file into a customer folder and right-click on the GPP or VMID file and select send to from the drop-down menu, and select _SolidCAM. There is also a Send to version for InventorCAM included although the functionality is a bit different due to differences between SolidWorks and Inventor.
